Rosalía has redefined what a pop concert can be with her new LUX Tour, which officially launched on March 16, 2026, at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.
Known for pushing artistic boundaries, the Spanish superstar has fused avant-garde music with the elegance of classical ballet, turning her fourth album, ‘Lux,’ into a full-scale operatic experience.
Central to the tour is Rosalía’s collaboration with the acclaimed French collective (LA)HORDE, the visionary choreographers behind the Ballet National de Marseille. Their work brings a daring blend of contemporary and classical ballet to the stage, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for the singer’s musical storytelling.
During the opening night, Rosalía performed intricate ballet routines both solo and with a corps de ballet, leaving fans in awe of her versatility and precision.
The choreography doesn’t just flirt with tradition, it actively challenges it. Alongside classical ballet, the show incorporates urban dance styles like jumpstyle and hakken, creating a fusion that is entirely Rosalía’s own.
And it’s not just the dancers who move, during a heartfelt rendition of Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” fans were invited onstage, making the audience a part of the theatrical spectacle.
From the first note of the live orchestral overture to the final bow, the LUX Tour is a feast for the eyes. Rosalía’s team has crafted an aesthetic that blends maximalist opera with playful nods to ballet’s heritage.
Tutus, ballet slippers, and flowing costumes recall the grandeur of Maria Callas, while stage elements like multi-level platforms and a giant white canvas allow her to move seamlessly among the crowd.
One unforgettable moment comes in the “Perla” segment, inspired by ‘The Princess and the Pea.’ Rosalía descends from a tower of lilac mattresses to reveal a monumental pearl, a theatrical flourish that perfectly embodies the album’s mystical and feminine themes.
The concert unfolds across five acts plus an interlude, merging songs from Lux with hits from her Motomami era. From the fiery opener featuring “Sexo, violencia y llantas” to the intimate interlude with “Dios es un stalker” and the dramatic finale including “DESPECHÁ” and “Magnolias,” every segment is meticulously crafted to take the audience on a journey of sound, story, and spectacle.
Setlist highlights:
