Few artists embody the spirit, resilience, and global reach of Latin pop like Thalia. This year, the multi-platinum superstar and undisputed Latin Pop Queen is giving fans a nostalgic yet refreshed gift. The remastered editions of three of her most iconic albums. Marking 30, 25, and 20 years since their releases, “En Éxtasis” (1995), “Arrasando” (2000), and “El Sexto Sentido” (2005) are back, sounding sharper than ever, ready to reignite the magic that defined entire eras in Latin music.

“En Éxtasis” wasn’t just another pop record in the ’90s; it was a cultural earthquake. With tracks like “Piel Morena,” “Gracias a Dios,” and the unforgettable telenovela anthem “María la del Barrio,” Thalia carved her place in the global spotlight. Produced in part by Emilio Estefan and Kike Santander, the album fused Latin flair with international pop trends, creating something daring and magnetic.

With tracks like “Piel Morena,” “Gracias a Dios,” and the unforgettable telenovela anthem “María la del Barrio,” the album “En Éxtasis” was a cultural earthquake.

The album sold millions worldwide, earned Gold and Platinum certifications in multiple countries, and topped Billboard’s Latin charts. Today, it still racks up over 300 million streams, proof that its power hasn’t faded. More than just launching her international career, “En Éxtasis” symbolized the Latin pop explosion of the ’90s, setting the stage for countless artists to follow.

‘Arrasando’: A Generational Anthem

By 2000, Thalia was no longer just a rising star; she was a global force. With “Arrasando,” she stepped up as both songwriter and producer, working once again with Emilio Estefan but with a stronger artistic hand.

The title track became a rallying cry of empowerment, while “Entre el Mar y una Estrella,” “Regresa a Mí,” and “Rosalinda” cemented her versatility as a hitmaker.

The album soared to #1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart, went multi-Platinum, and fueled a world tour that spanned Latin America, the U.S., Europe, and Asia. “Arrasando” was a movement. Fans sang along in arenas from Mexico City to Buenos Aires, proving Thalia wasn’t just a pop star, but a unifying cultural icon.

‘El Sexto Sentido’: A Bold New Vision

Fast forward to 2005, and Thalia unveiled a more introspective side with “El Sexto Sentido.” This was an album of reinvention, blending ballads, bachata, electronic beats, and classic Latin pop. Produced by Estéfano, Pepe Pagán, and Cory Rooney, the project carried a deeply personal touch with Thalia serving as executive producer.

The album debuted at #1 in Mexico, reached #2 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums, and delivered timeless singles like “Amar Sin Ser Amada.” The Reloaded version, featuring “No, No, No” with Romeo Santos, became a smash hit and even won Song of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards. Notably, it was recognized as the most expensive Latin American album production of its time.

Thalia on Her Legacy

“These albums not only marked an era for my fans, but they also shaped my life completely,” Thalia reflected. “Through these songs, I was able to connect with audiences around the world, in Spanish and with our Latin rhythms. It is a privilege to celebrate this music decades after its release, and it inspires me to keep creating from love and respect for this wonderful profession.”
