Florence Pugh is one of Hollywood’s brightest stars. Since her breakout role in the 2016 drama Lady MacBeth, the 30-year-old actress has worked non-stop.
From her Oscar-nominated performance in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women to her turn as formidable assassin Yelena Belova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and most recently, starring in Netflix’s epic adaptation of John Steinbeck’s East of Eden – Florence has firmly established herself as an in-demand star of her generation.

Florence is dating fellow actor Finn Cole.

Florence and Finn first sparked romance rumours when they were spotted together at Glastonbury Festival in July 2024. Three months later, the Don’t Worry Darling actress revealed she was dating someone in an interview with British Vogue in October 2024.

I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”
Florence took their relationship up a notch when she went Instagram official back in April. Posting a carousel of stunning snaps from a Bulgari high jewellery event in Milan, including a photo of herself posing with the Peaky Blinders actor on the red carpet, the actress penned: “Bvlgari with my boys. Milan, I like your late night pizza.”
Florence Pugh’s famous ex
Florence previously dated filmmaker Zach Braff, 51, best known for playing JD in the hit sitcom Scrubs.
The former couple, who dated from 2019 until their split in 2022, faced online criticism for their 21-year age gap.
© Getty ImagesIn April 2020, Florence defended their relationship in a post on Instagram. “I am 24 years old. I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love and I would never in my life tell anyone who they can and cannot love. It is not your place,” she said.
“The abuse that you throw at him is abuse that you are throwing at me, and I don’t want those followers,” continued the We Live in Time star. “I do not want to have to be protecting my comments every time I post a picture of him. I really hope that I can continue this relationship with a lot of you.”
Florence, who quarantined with Zach during the COVID-19 pandemic, confirmed their split in a 2022 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
© Getty Images“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing,” she said. “We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together. So we’ve done that. I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it.”
Reflecting on their relationship and the impact of public scrutiny during an interview with British Vogue in 2024, Florence said: “I had to be public (with my relationship) in the past because people were bullying me and bullying my partner. Mine and Zach’s relationship was actually quite private until it was nasty, and I could see the toll that it was taking on him and us and our families, and that’s when I spoke out.”
She continued: “I think for anyone I’m with, I want to protect them. It’s not nice knowing that people are saying the worst things I’ve ever read about someone that I love. So that was necessary.”
