And from the look of the new releases due to hit screens, it’s safe to say viewers will be well and truly spoilt for choice. Morris Chestnut plays Watson

Watson season 2

The stories of Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson continue to captivate audiences, and this US medical drama offers a gripping contemporary spin on the original material penned by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Season one finds Sherlock’s right-hand man reeling after a “disastrous” case at the Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland. With Sherlock presumed dead, Watson (Morris Chestnut) relocates from London to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to start a new life and head up the Holmes Clinic for Diagnostic Medicine. If you love Sherlock stories, Elementary or Enola Holmes, this one is well worth tuning into.

While season one of Watson launched in the US in January 2025, season two arrives on Sky Witness and NOW in the UK from Sunday 15 February.

56 Days

If it’s a raunchy thriller you’re looking for, then Prime Video’s 56 Days is worth the watch. Starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, this eight-parter is based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s bestselling novel and follows the lives of Oliver and Ciara, who coincidentally meet in a supermarket and fall into a dangerously intoxicating relationship.

Fifty-six days later, a body is discovered brutally murdered in the bathtub of Oliver’s apartment. Told across two timelines, the series unpacks both the twisty crime case and the intense romance at its centre.

56 Days lands on Prime Video on Wednesday 18 February.

The Night Agent season 3

Netflix viewers will finally be authorised to unlock season three of The Night Agent this week, with Gabriel Basso returning as Night Agent Peter Sutherland for another high-stakes outing.

This time, Peter is tasked with tracking down a young Treasury Agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after murdering his boss.

Not only is this series one of the most-watched on the streamer, but it also stars impressive names like David Lyons (The Beast in Me), Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time) and Fola Evans-Akingbola (Film Club).

The Night Agent season three lands on Netflix from Thursday 19 February.

The Last Thing He Told Me season 2

One of Apple TV+’s biggest mystery dramas, The Last Thing He Told Me returns for a second season, with Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Angourie Rice reprising their roles as Hannah, Owen and Bailey.

Based on Laura Dave’s sequel novel, the new instalment picks up after the events of season one and sees the shock return of Hannah’s husband Owen following his mysterious five-year disappearance.

HELLO!’s Acting TV Editor Nicky Morris is particularly excited about this one. She said: “It’s safe to say fans will be counting down the days until the show’s return, which comes almost three years after season one premiered in April 2023. The show is produced by 20th Television alongside Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, which has an impressive drama slate, including series like The Morning Show, Big Little Lies and Where the Crawdads Sing – so it’s safe to say viewers are in for a gripping watch.”

The Last Thing He Told Me lands on Apple TV+ from Friday 20 February.
