One year after marrying Hollywood actor George Clooney, Amal was pictured enjoying a day out with her father Ramzi Alamuddin in the East Village.
Clutching onto her father’s hand, she wore an ethereal white mini dress with a sheer lace overlay and a drop waist – a style that wouldn’t look out of place in the storefronts in the summer of 2026.
Dressing for the cooler May weather, she completed her look by layering a tan suede jacket over her shoulders and slipping white heeled sandals on her feet. As the UK endures its fifth heatwave of 2026, she certainly won’t need extra layers should she choose to re-wear the dress.

The bride, who met the Jay Kelly actor through a mutual friend at a dinner party at George’s house, wore a breathtaking custom ivory French lace Oscar de la Renta bridal gown.
Speaking to Vogue about her wedding, she said: “George and I wanted a wedding that was romantic and elegant, and I can’t imagine anyone more able than Oscar to capture this mood in a dress.”

Earlier this year, the 48-year-old enjoyed a glamorous date night with her husband, George Clooney, at the 51st Chaplin Award Gala in New York City.
Amal made a statement in a block-colour mini dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline from Balenciaga. Stylist Leanne Jones, who trained at the London College of Style, explained to HELLO! how Amal seamlessly switched up her style.
“This is a departure from her usual full-length gown aesthetic; it really works for her – and it’s a great reminder that there is absolutely no harm in switching up your style at any age or stage of life. From a styling perspective, the colour is absolutely on point as a feature colour for SS26 direction,” Leanne said at the time.
