Hailey Bieber has banished the winter gloom by resurrecting a golden gown pulled straight from the Versace archives. The skincare mogul stepped out in a silky embellished number from the Italian house’s spring/summer 2006 runway collection for the Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event at the Sydney Opera House on February 13.
Sourced by Hailey’s longtime stylist, Dani Michelle, from archival dealer Raffe Vintage, the butter-yellow gown features a plunging neckline framed by bejeweled straps and an embellished mesh bodice, complete with a jewel-encrusted center panel. From there, a flowing silk skirt cascades to the floor, ruffling softly at the hem and punctuated by a daring thigh-high slit. Delicate sequin embellishments trail across the hips in an encircling pattern. The look was completed with a pair of dainty drop earrings.
Hailey’s toasted-almond hued locks were slicked back into an elegant updo while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip.
“I feel like Australia just feels very chill and very relaxed,” she told Vogue Australia on the red carpet. “Everyone here is so nice.”
The creamy yellow hue has been peppering the runway in recent seasons, particularly the spring/summer 2025 collections. Leading the charge were the likes of Toteme, 16Arlington, Chloé, and Chanel.
Hailey is currently in Australia to celebrate the expansion of her beauty brand, Rhode, into the market. The Rhode founder took to Instagram on January 8 to announce the exciting news with a striking black-and-white promotional image.
“Hi Australia + New Zealand,” the caption read. “The world of Rhode is on the way. We’re so happy to announce that our lineup of curated everyday essentials is coming to Australia and New Zealand very soon. Starting February 12th at 6am AEDT, our complete collection on rhodeskin.com will ship to both countries. We’re also incredibly excited to partner exclusively with @meccabeauty in Australia and New Zealand. On February 12th, you’ll be able to shop Rhode online and at MECCA’s Bourke Street and George Street flagship locations, followed by most stores on February 13th.”
Earlier on Friday, she discussed Rhode’s expansion into Australia via beauty retailer Mecca. For press interviews, the founder donned a full Valentino look that consisted of a green minidress adorned with bow detailing styled with open-toe suede heels and a DeVain Jacquard shoulder bag.
On February 12, Hailey stepped out for the Wuthering Heights premiere in Sydney wearing a romantic, gothic-inspired lace dress.
