It’s Friday, which means we have our weekly round-up of the hottest musical releases. A-list names and rising stars dropped some bangers this week, and 2026 is already proving to be an incredible year for music. Get your playlist ready and vibe out with hard-hitting reggaeton, regional Mexican, pop, and more.

Hamilton, DFZM – Mi Gata Oficial

Fresh after Premio Lo Nuestro, Colombian breakout Hamilton, aka the AfroRockStar, drops his new single “Gata Oficial” with DFZM, who won collaboration of the year for “+57” – Karol G, Feid, Dfzm, Ovy On The Drums, J Balvin, Maluma, Ryan Castro, Blessd. After teasing it on social media and racking up thousands of views, “Mi Gata Oficial” is finally here. With a catchy melody, the track celebrates that special woman who inspires admiration, desire, and love, blending sensual lyrics with a bold, modern urban sound.

Marcelo Rubio – Noches por madrid

One of the most unique voices in music and rising Venezuelan star Marcelo Rubio drops his first ballad of the year, “Noches por Madrid <3,” written during his April 2025 trip to Madrid. The song leans into his confessional style, with nostalgic ’90s R&B touches layered over a guitar-forward ballad. “Noches por Madrid is a song born from my first-time experience in the city with my partner,” Rubio said in a press release. “It was a romanticized trip, but one with many layers, because at the Madrid show in April [2025], there was a couple at the corner of the bar singing every song to each other’s faces, hugging each other. I kept them in mind the entire trip,” he adds, recalling the sold-out show at Sala Vesta that marked his European debut.

Ana Tijoux, Dj Dacel – DESAPEGO ft. Tremendo

Chilean rap icon Ana Tijoux drops “DESAPEGO,” featuring Tremendo, the second preview of her upcoming EP 97, made with beatmaker DJ Dacel and out March 12. Recorded between Santiago and Barcelona, the EP blends rap, samples, and laid-back energy, and nods to 1997 – the year Tijoux and Dacel first met. “It’s an EP that seeks the honesty of who we are and what we like, across different styles,” Tijoux said in a press release. “It’s a bit of an ode to our friendship.”

Tainy, Rauw Alejandro & JHAYCO – Rosita

Renowned producer Tainy drops “Rosita” with Rauw Alejandro and Jhayco, plus a Stillz-directed video. The reggaeton track comes with an epic music video starring the trio. It comes fresh off serving as music director for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance, and his GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY win for Album of the Year for his work on DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.

Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga & Xavi – Aguántame

Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga team up with Xavi for “Aguántame.” The regional Mexican bop has hard-hitting horns and guitar riffs with a modern sound. Their vocals shine through with Xavii’s signature sound that has catapulted him into the limelight. The release comes after Xav’s epic night at Premio Lo Nuestro, where he was awarded Mexican Music – Fusion of the Year for “No Capea,” which he dedicated to the immigrant community.

WILLOW – ear to the cocoon

Willow Smith continues to show off her musical genius with her seventh studio LP album, petal rock black. The artist wrote, produced, and recorded the album, which includes collaborations with George Clinton, Kamasi Washington, and Tune-Yards. With stunning instrumentals, genre-blending magic, and an experimental sound, her vocals shine through. It includes “ear to the cocoon,” which sounds amazing with headphones.

Goyo, Willy Garcia – Cuaderno (La Salsa Version)

Colombian songstress GOYO reimagines her confessional single “Cuaderno” as a fiery and emotional salsa with the help of Willy Garcia. Originally rooted in pop and R&B, the song rooted in vulnerability first appeared on her debut album Pantera. The feel-good track shows off her stunning vocals and will have you ready to dance. The release arrives with a music video featuring behind-the-scenes footage from recording the new version.

Silvestre Dangond, Manuel Turizo – El Pacto

An epic Colombian collaboration, Silvestre Dangond teams up with Manuel Turizo for the first time on “El Pacto,” a pop-vallenato heartbreak anthem about broken promises and fading trust. It has beautiful instrumentals that will catch your ear, and their voices make for the perfect pairing. The release arrives with a music video shot between Miami and Colombia.

Hilary Duff – Weather For Tennis

Hilary Duff’s new album ‘luck … or something’  is here! The Disney princess’s return to music has been one of the most anticipated, and she’s been going viral for weeks. The album has that classic pop fun sound with vulnerable lyrics in which she opens up about her life and relationship with husband Matthew Kona. It includes “Weather For Tennis,” which comes with a music video where she looks incredible.
