Harper Beckham steals the spotlight every time she steps out with the rest of the Beckham family, as the clan’s youngest child, only daughter, and budding fashionista. The 14-year-old has already proven that she’s just as much of a style icon as her pop-star-turned-designer mother, Victoria Beckham.
In a new series of photos shared to Instagram by her father, David Beckham, the younger sister of Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz Beckham, looked so cool in an all-black skiing outfit from Balenciaga, for which the jacket retails at £3,150 and the trousers at £2,090.
This also marks the first time she’s been seen publicly wearing clothes from the house, which is known for more subversive and experimental designs.
Her mother is a known fan who owns many pieces from the luxury house, meanwhile, Romeo has an attachment to the brand after he made his debut on the runway modelling for their SS25 collection, and has been seen posing for selfies in streetwear wardrobe staples from the brand.
The retired football player’s caption read: “Creating memories with the kids either together or one on one has always been important to me so this week me and Harper created a few more memories. Love you pretty lady.”
His comment section was filled with fans and friends inundating the family with messages, including David’s mother, Sandra, who wrote: “One very special dad, a time Harper will always remember.”
Harper Beckham wore Balenciaga for the first time
We spoke to Tania Leslau, HELLO! Fashion’s Fashion Features Editor, who explained to us why it’s so exciting to see Harper taking on a Balenciaga look for the first time. The house, which the fashion expert explained is known for its “gritty, urban subversive judge”, has seen an enormous resurgence in popularity over the last ten years especially amongst celebrities.
Moreover, their ambassador line-up has just seen an enormous boost, as they have taken on the likes of Harris Dickinson, Winona Ryder and Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams.
“His ability to merge the avant-garde with pop culture – think sock trainers, logo hoodies, and the infamous Ikea-inspired bag – has created a cult-like following,” she continued, “including figures such as Kim Kardashian and Romeo Beckham,” who later modelled for the brand.
She explained: “Under his creative eye, the brand harnessed the virality of fashion – e.g. sending literal bin bags down the runway for shock-factor. Demna’s Balenciaga fully embraced the power of social media, creating highly controversial and commercial moments that remained burned in the brains of fashion insiders across the globe.”
The ski slopes have become the second runway
Tania explained that skiwear has “taken on a whole new sartorial cachet in recent months due to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics”. She added: “From technical designer layers to cinched designer one piece catsuits, the mountains have been flooded with fashion enthusiasts wanting to exercise their style on the slopes.
“The exclusivity of the sport lends itself to the luxury sphere,” the fashion editor explained. “Verbier’s Prada pylons make for the perfect Instagram Story moment, Courchevel’s Gucci bubble lift is impossible to miss and Miu Miu hosted its autumn/winter 22 show in the Cortina d’Ampezzo, nestled among the snow-capped Dolomites.”
As a famously expensive hobby, Tania noted that it “perfectly aligns with the Old Money aesthetic that celebrities love,” citing the iconic paparazzi shots of Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton on the slopes.
