Heather Locklear is turning 64 years old on September 25, and she’s riding into the milestone with someone very special. On Wednesday, the actress was spotted on horseback in Hollywood with her boyfriend Lorenzo Lamas on what looked like a pre-birthday adventure.
The couple was with what looked like friends for the ride, which was up to the famous Hollywood sign. The couple dressed for the occasion, with Locklear wearing a white tank top with blue jeans, a lighter denim jacket, and a green bandana tied around her neck.

© ABC Photo ArchivesAt the time, Locklear was starring on Dynasty and Lamas was on Falcon Crest. Fast forward 40 years, and they were photographed celebrating New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas in December 2025. Lamas’ representative later confirmed in April 2026 that they were dating.
They made their first public appearance as a couple at the Chiller Theatre Expo in New Jersey that month.
Things are serious
© Bobby BankThings are looking serious for the couple. Lamas’ family has met Locklear, and his children and grandchildren were spotted spending time with the actress earlier this year.
The couple also attended Locklear’s daughter, Ava Sambora’s wedding, in Montecito in May. An eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time that Locklear and Lamas were holding hands and seemed happy together.
Locklear has also made it clear that she isn’t taking the relationship for granted. While on the Hollywood & Divine podcast in June, the Melrose Place alum opened up about her new romance for the first time.
“My new guy is very… everything,” she said. “I’m just like, when I tell this person I love him, I’m really saying, ‘I love you, God.’ Because that’s what happened. It’s from God.” She added that she was in “the best time” of her life.
Lamas has also gushed about their second chance at love. When Fox News Digital asked whether he ever imagined their relationship coming full circle after all those years, he admitted that he hadn’t.
“The short answer is no,” Lamas said. “I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met.”
The couple has even joked about how strange, and seemingly perfect, the timing is. During a recent August encounter with TMZ, the pair jokingly described their relationship as “horrible” and a “nightmare” before making it clear they were kidding.
Locklear said the two found each other at the right time, explaining that everything they experienced during the years they spent apart ultimately brought them to where they are now.
