Holly Willoughby has kept a low-profile lifestyle after stepping down from This Morning in October 2023 following a foiled kidnap and murder plot against her.
The Celebrity Bear Hunt star, 45, has since posted occasional updates about her wellness company, Wylde Moon, but she rarely shares photos of her home life with her husband, Dan Baldwin, and their three kids, Harry, 16, Belle, 14, and Chester, 11.
In a surprising change of heart, Holly took to Instagram to share a photo of her latest work outfit – taken from her youngest son’s wardrobe. Alongside cigarette trousers from Joseph and pointed-toe pumps from Zara, the Dancing on Ice star modelled a navy blue and orange striped quarter-zip jumper from Mango’s children’s line.
It retails for £25.99, but the popular style quickly sold out after it was put on sale for just £12.99.
Trousers were one item of clothing Holly tended to avoid in the past, with This Morning viewers admiring her seemingly endless collection of feminine floral dresses. However, she admitted her stylist, Angie Smith, helped broaden her sartorial horizons.
“I could never wear trousers; I’d always stick to dresses but then one day, Angie turned up at my house with a single pair of black trousers and they were a game-changer. There is no doubt that a great fitting pair of trousers can make you feel good about yourself,” she told Glamour.
Holly’s comments on motherhood
Holly and her TV producer husband, Dan, tied the knot in August 2007, celebrating their 18th anniversary in 2025.
Speaking of becoming a mother to their three children, she told HELLO! in an exclusive interview in 2017: “All I ever wanted to do was to be a mum.
“It wasn’t like when I was at school, I thought, ‘Oh, I’m going to be this big career girl’. Being a mummy is definitely my most favourite job of all, without a shadow of a doubt.”
Holly added that as soon as Harry, Belle and Chester left the toddler stage, she found it easier to balance her work and family life. “It doesn’t feel like hard work,” she added.
In the same interview, she described her daughter’s style as “a mix of complete tomboy and real girl”, but it is her son’s wardrobe that she has begun to raid for her androgynous workwear.
Return to screen
Over one year after her departure from This Morning, Holly returned to screens on the Netflix show, Celebrity Bear Hunt, alongside her friend and co-presenter Bear Grylls.
“It really helped me, the whole thing,” she told HELLO! exclusively in January 2025.
“I really loved it. It came along at the right time. I think it’s good to change things up sometimes and it’s good to challenge yourself. In the same way that the celebrities will go into this to challenge themselves and see what they were made of, I thought: ‘Right, why not?’”
