The 2026 National Television Awards was its usual, glitzy affair which saw stylish stars including Cat Deeley, Susanna Reid, Myleene Klass and Rochelle Humes turn on the glam for the annual ceremony celebrating the best in TV.
But what I love most about the awards is the fashion, with many of last night’s celebrity outfits at the NTAs being shoppable – sure, there’s a designer gown or custom-made dress in there but these celebs are down to earth, and not afraid to throw a little high street into the mix.
The trend at the NTA was definitely the classic black LBD, as worn by Holly Willoughby, Susanna Reid, Myleene Klass and Teri Hatcher. Colourful gowns came into play with Helen Skelton in purple, AJ Odudu in burgundy embellishment and Paris Fury in fiery red – not forgetting Amanda Holden’s Barbie pink Valentino cut-out gown. And let’s not sleep on the sequins. Sparkle season is upon us, and plenty of our favourite TV stars cracked out the sequins – Alison Hammond, Vicky McClure and Christine Lampard all glittered.
Many NTA celebs also wore high street accessories, even if their gowns had a much higher price tag. I spotted Dune London, Sole Bliss and Phase Eight accessories on some of the attendees, proving that a mix high-low is the way to go.
Think of this as your inspiration for your next formal event, from autumnal weddings to soirees. You can also bank the styles to save for when those Christmas parties start, or for some NYE inspiration. Let’s see what high street and affordable celebrity outfits graced the National Television Awards 2026…
Outfits you can shop from this year’s NTAs line-up
GMB’s Susanna Reid wore a classic LBD from from celeb fave label, Goddiva. Wearing the One Shoulder Twisted Bardot gown, £98, it fits her to perfection with its corset top and mermaid fitted skirt.
Susanna kept the rest of her look pared back, with a statement red lip and delicate jewellery, styled by Holly Slater.
Everyone was in love with AJ Odudu’s burgundy sequinned dress and it’s so gorgeous, I can see why. From Karen Millen, the sequin hanky hem halter neck dress is slinky yet easy to wear, and looks effortlessly glam for the red carpet.
Bringing the autumnal vibes was Celebs Go Dating star Anna Williamson, who wore a suit from Nadine Merabi.
I love this take on the traditional suit, with the Abigail Burgundy blazer and trousers a sexy, shoulder-baring take, with luxe looking buttons and a cinched in waist.
How sweet is Laura Hamilton’s pink gown, complete with a big pink bow? Gorge! But it’s her Soru Jewellery Mondello earrings that I’m in love with – gold links encrusted with Swarovski pearls.
