Chris Hemsworth is giving fans a fresh glimpse into his life off-screen, this time through a laid-back family surf trip that says more about fatherhood than fame ever could.
Chris Hemsworth shared a series of moments from a getaway to Hanalei Bay, where he was joined by his three children, India Rose, 13, and 12-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan. The photos show the group fully immersed in beach life, surfboards in hand, walking along the sand, and spending time together in and out of the water.
Reflecting on the trip, Hemsworth described it as “Another amazing surf trip with my kids. Always a big dream of mine to be able to check the forecast, pack the bags and Chase some surf with them. I’ll never take it for granted.”
He also revealed how quickly things have changed, adding, “It felt like overnight things went from me teaching them to surf to them making me feel completely inadequate as they dominate the lineup with such confidence!”

That perspective is rooted in the life he has built far from Hollywood, in Byron Bay. Known for its surf culture and outdoor lifestyle, the coastal town has shaped his children into highly active, competitive athletes. Surfing, in particular, has become a defining part of their routine, with trips like this one serving as both bonding time and training ground.

His son Sasha, for instance, won his first major surf competition in New South Wales in June 2025, a milestone Hemsworth proudly shared as a defining “dad moment.”
But surfing is just one piece of the picture. The twins also compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where they’ve earned gold medals at the Australian Open, and regularly train alongside their father.

Despite all this, Hemsworth has made it clear that none of these achievements, or his own Hollywood success, carry much weight at home. He has shared that his children are largely unimpressed by his career, explaining that their initial excitement about him playing Thor quickly faded once they realized he didn’t actually have superpowers.
