Bad Bunny is preparing to take on the biggest stage of his career so far when he headlines the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.
The 31-year-old rapper and singer already has a huge fanbase and has earned himself a jaw-dropping net worth, but he can expect that number to rise after he performs in front of hundreds of millions of people on February 8.
Bad Bunny has enjoyed incredible success over the last few years, from record-breaking tours, chart-topping albums, movie roles, and brand deals, which helped him secure a spot on Forbes’ world’s highest-paid musicians list last year.
Bad Bunny’s music has reportedly earned between $255 million and $425 million on Spotify, thanks to it being streamed over 85 billion times. In 2025, he was named Spotify’s Global Top Artist for the fourth time, with 19.8 million streams. His chart-topping albums and songs have also reportedly earned him over $20 million and three Grammy Awards to date.
Bad Bunny has made a fortune from touring. In 2022 alone, according to Pollstar, he made $435.38 million from touring, playing 81 shows across two tours. The bulk of the money came from his World’s Hottest Tour, which ran from August to December, but his El Último Tour Del Mundo tour, which ran from February to April, grossed $113 million.
In late 2025, he embarked on his Debí Tirar Más Fotos (DTMF) World Tour, which continues through 2026, and in the first 12 shows, it grossed $107 million, meaning that with plenty more stops to come, it could become his highest-grossing tour to date.
2025 was also the year of Bad Bunny’s residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí, in his native Puerto Rico, which, according to Forbes, made up the majority of his estimated $40 million earnings for the year.
Bad Bunny also earns a healthy wage from his acting career. He was reportedly paid $150,000 for his first movie role in 2022’s Bullet Train alongside Brad Pitt. He also appeared in the third season of Narcos: Mexico, and in 2025, he starred in Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler and Caught Stealing, starring Austin Butler. While his salaries weren’t publicly disclosed, we imagine he was very well compensated.
With his record-breaking tours, billions of Spotify streams, his acting side-hustle, and collaborations with companies like Gucci, Adidas, and WWE, Bad Bunny has netted himself a staggering fortune of $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Super Bowl fee
In September 2025, it was announced that Bad Bunny would perform the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show on February 8.
What may surprise many, however, is that Bad Bunny is performing for free. As has been the standard for years, the NFL doesn’t pay the halftime performers, but, alongside sponsor Apple Music and producer Roc Nation, it does foot the entire production bill, covering expenses for stages, pyrotechnics, and crew, which can range between $10 million and $20 million.
While Bad Bunny won’t receive a salary, apart from the union-rate minimum of a couple of hundred dollars for the performance and rehearsals leading up to the halftime show, he will earn exposure to hundreds of millions of people, which will no doubt increase his sizeable net worth.
