There’s a baby Pons-Guaynaa on the way! After announcing their pregnancy in March, Lele Pons and Guaynaa have been giving fans an inside look at their journey to parenthood – and on Friday, they hosted a gender reveal party that was as over-the-top and joyful as you’d expect.
The celebration took place at the Faena Forum in Miami and was full of sweet moments, bright colors, and a whole lot of love. The couple revealed the baby’s sex with a paint party twist – popping open cans of paint that exploded in a burst of bright pink.
© ProvidedLele and Guaynaa skipped the ponchos and let the paint splatter all over their white outfits, sharing huge smiles and hugging each other through the excitement. Guaynaa also seemed to be helping Lele stay steady in her heels as she took in the news that she had a baby girl growing inside of her.
Their baby girl is due this summer, and Brazilian superstar Anitta is the godmother. In one adorable moment captured by HOLA! USA, Anitta gently caressed Lele’s baby bump as they posed for photos together.
Of course, the event drew a who’s who of Latin entertainment. Among the star-studded guest list: her famous uncle Chayanne, Ricky Montaner, Sebastián Yatra, Beto from Rawayana, Greeicy, Belinda, Natti Natasha, Harry Jowsey, Camila Coelho, Yailín la más viral, and Nadia Ferreira. DJ Khaled even showed up and shared a few words before the big reveal.
The venue was also a nod to their roots – the space was split down the middle, with one half decorated in pink and filled with Venezuelan food for Lele’s side and the other half in blue, repping Puerto Rican flavors for Guaynaa.
After the reveal, the couple shared a dance covered in pink, with Lele kicking off her heels and going barefoot on the dance floor.
Their love story
© NBCLele and Guaynaa first met in 2019, and they collaborated on the song “Se Te Nota” in 2020. Fans knew there was chemistry, and they made it official that year in December. Two years later, in July 2022, Guaynaa proposed during Tomorrowland in Belgium in front of thousands of fans.
The two tied the knot in a dreamy Miami wedding in March 2023, surrounded by family, friends, and their celebrity friends. With a daughter on the way, one thing’s for sure – this baby is arriving into a world full of love, music, and family.
