Tiffany Trump celebrated the upcoming arrival of her baby boy with a sweet Peter Rabbit-themed shower on Sunday. The event, hosted by her half-sister Ivanka Trump, drew close friends and family, including Tiffany’s mother Marla Maples. However, both her father, Donald Trump, and her stepmother Melania were absent.
According to a Florida source who spoke to People, the First Lady was occupied with other commitments. “Melania has her own schedule, even on weekends,” the source explained, adding that she was also spending quality time with her son, Barron, who is currently studying at NYU and splits his time between New York City, Florida, and Washington D.C.
“She was spending time with her son, Barron, and was busy with family matters of her own,” the insider detailed to the publication. While Melania and Donald were not in attendance, Tiffany was surrounded by support from her immediate and extended family.
