Tiger Woods’ net worth
According to Forbes, the golfing champion is worth a staggering $1.5 billion and has accumulated an estimated $1.8 billion, before taxes, during his professional career.
Approximately 90% of his career earnings have come from endorsements, with major partners including Nike, Buick, Titleist, American Express, and Rolex. Throughout his career, Tiger has set numerous PGA Tour records, most notably tying the all-time mark with 82 career victories and establishing a record with 142 consecutive cuts made. He won $121 million in prize money.
Tiger’s net worth began at $10,000 in 1995 and has raisen to $1.8 billion today. He has used his earnings to invest in two homes located in Jupiter Island, along with a golf-course design business and PopStroke, a high-end mini-golf chain.
The golfer purchased his home in 2007 for $44.5 million. It was originally a 9,000-square-foot mansion, but Tiger built a brand new property on the land in 2010, with the new layout including a 12,000-square-foot main home, and a 14,000-square-foot multi-purpose building, which are connected by a glass-covered walkway.
Tiger met Elin Nordegren, a Swedish former model, during The Open Championship in 2001. The former couple got engaged in November 2003 and married on October 5, 2004, with a ceremony at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados. However, in 2009, he took a break from golfing to work on his marital issues and the pair divorced in 2010 with a $100 million divorce settlement.
The star is now dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump.
Tiger Woods’ arrest
Tiger was jailed for eight hours before being released on bond after driving at “high speeds” in his Land Rover and colliding with a pick-up truck towing a trailer as he attempted to overtake.
“This is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for this gentleman to get off but as he tried [to pull in] the Land Rover overtook, swerved to avoid a collision, and clipped the backend of the pressure cleaner apparatus [on the trailer], and [the car] rolled on the driver’s door,” said Martin County Sheriff, John Budensiek.
