Ivanka Trump turned a major White House occasion into a special mother-daughter fashion moment with her eldest child, Arabella Kushner.
The 44-year-old shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos with her 15-year-old daughter from President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan’s state visit to Washington, offering a closer look at the two very different outfits they wore as the day’s events transitioned from the official welcome to an elegant state dinner.

The designer choice carried particular significance for the occasion. Guo Pei is one of China’s most internationally recognized couturiers and famously created the dramatic yellow cape Rihanna wore to the 2015 Met Gala.

Arabella similarly moved from daytime ivory to classic evening black.
