‘I’ve done things that have hurt others’

Justin Bieber is opening up about some heartfelt and vulnerable reflections. The singer touched on his insightful thoughts, sharing a glimpse at his personal life and getting real with his fans amid recent rumors and speculations about his mental health and romantic relationship with Hailey Bieber.

On May 9, Justin took to social media to share an emotional message of self-awareness and a desire for personal growth. In the first post, the singer states that he views himself as an “average flawed guy,” acknowledging his past mistakes and their impact on others.

“I’ve done things that have hurt others,” he admitted. “I continue to do and say things that hurt others unintentionally. Yet I woke up this morning with another opportunity to grow and not be so selfish today.”

His honesty didn’t stop there, as he went on to reflect on the power of love, emphasizing its importance in personal growth and forgiveness. “Love draws us in. Love doesn’t condemn. Love believes the best. Love hopes all things and endures all things,” he wrote.

“It doesn’t keep record of wrong. Love helps u to forgive and love even your enemies,” he continued, sharing a deeper layer of his vulnerability.

“I sometimes think I’m gonna get exposed if I tell people how selfish I am,” he confessed. “Like if I admitted that, maybe people wouldn’t like me or trust me,” he further expressed, sharing his fear of being disqualified from his dreams if he revealed his inner struggles.

“But the more honest I am about where I really am, the more freedom I actually have,” he concluded. A third post from the artist continued to explore his inner battles. “The truth is, I wake up every morning. Some days I’m optimistic. Sometimes I wake up pessimistic. I can’t control how I’m gonna feel.”

He elaborated on his struggle with negative thoughts. “I would find myself even subconsciously blaming god for the bad feeling I woke up with rather than communicate with him and ask him to help me have a change of perspective.”

“Once again it’s easier to point the finger than it is to take ownership,” he reflected. “It’s easy to say, ‘Damn [they’re] greedy,’ rather than to check the greed in our own hearts. Only god can remove the greed and selfishness from our hearts,” he posted.
