Happy Friday! The weekend has arrived, which means we have a roundup of new music to impress your friends with or to vibe out alone. It’s been an amazing week for music with albums you’ll want to listen to from front to back. From A-list names to rising stars, let’s have some musical fun.

J Balvin, Omega – KLK

Get ready to dance because J Balvin and Dominican legend Omega have teamed up for “KLK,” a high-energy merengue electrónico track that blends classic Caribbean rhythms with futuristic club vibes. The release comes just ahead of Balvin’s Back to the Rayo tour stop at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 9, with more shows to follow in San Jose, Sacramento, Seattle, and Portland.

Cuco –  Don’t Be So Rude

The talented Mexican-American, Cuco, has finally released his highly anticipated album, ‘Ridin. There is no doubt it’s going to be one of the best albums of 2025, and it feels like a blast from the past as he honors old-school oldies and Chicano car culture. The singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a powerhouse in the Latin music scene, and his versatility to play with one genre to the next is incredible. It’s an album you can listen to from front to back with tracks like “Don’t Be So Rude.”

KAROL G – Milagros

Karol G’s Netflix documentary Karol G: Tomorrow Was Beautiful is now streaming. To celebrate, she released “Milagros,” which plays during the film’s credits. It’s her first musical release of 2025 and seems like a love letter to fans as she reflects on her incredible career. The Colombian has overcome a lot of odds and has literally made history as the first Latina to ever embark on a stadium world tour.

Quitapenas – Jaguar

Inland Empire’s Quitapenas is back with new music. The boy band is a group you want to keep on your radar, as they continue to release bangers that will remove your worries, like their name promises. Their first single of 2025 is “Jaguar,” which they described as a “pulsing, percussion-heavy single that channels raw movement and ancestral memory. Blending cumbia swagger with psychedelic textures and deep tropical rhythms, the track prowls between tradition and experimentation—built for the dancefloor and the diaspora alike.” Get ready to dance.

Kali Uchis – All I Can Say

Kali Uchis’ fifth studio album, Sincerely, is out now, and as expected, she delivers her signature ethereal magic. The deeply personal project explores themes of love, sensuality, and spirituality, with each track revealing a new layer of vulnerability and growth. With lush vocals, dreamy production, and a vision that feels both intimate and expansive, it’s some of the Colombian’s best work.

Marco Mares – A 150

Mexican singer, songwriter, and guitarist Marco Mares’ album ¿por qué corres? ya estamos ahí has arrived. Like Cuco’s releases, it’s a front-to-back listening experience that leaves you feeling good and ready to fall in love. His ability to blend genres like merengue and cumbia with his own signature twist makes his music both intelligent and ear-catching. The 12-track album was created between Puerto Rico and Los Angeles, with Mares recording vocals from his hometown of Mexico City. “A 150” is just one of the tracks that will leave you smiling.

Becky G, Manuel Turizo – QUE HACES

Becky G and Manuel Turizo join forces for their first official single of the year, “QUE HACES.” The ever-so-catchy track blends merengue and pop and is a sweet anthem about love. Their unique vocals blend effortlessly, and the track comes with a music video showing off their chemistry.

Fuerza Regida, Bellakath – Labubu

Fuerza Regida surprises fans just three days after the release of their album 111XPANTIA, with a Deluxe version of the production, which includes three unreleased tracks: “LOKiTA”, “Labubu”, and “Como Tú”. The group from San Bernardino just performed “peliculiando” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and is another example of the power of Latino music in the United States. “Labubo” will have you ready to shake your hips and is a collaboration with Bellakath, who collaborated with them in the past for the banger, “Fresita.”

Miley Cyrus – More to Lose

After her stunning appearance at the Met Gala, Miley Cyrus has released her second single of 2025, “More to Lose.” It’s another stunning preview of what’s to come with her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30. Cyrus’s mature sound and powerful vocals, with the all too relatable lyrics, will send chills down your spine.

Paloma Mami – HAKiA

Chilean star Paloma Mami is back with her much-anticipated single “HAKiA,” a hypnotic industrial reggaeton track infused with Japanese pop culture vibes. The song, part of her upcoming album Códigos de Muñeca, is all about female power, laying out what sets a strong woman apart from the rest, with bold lyrics like “Ella es una 45 entre las 9.”
