Jennifer Aniston appears happier than ever with boyfriend Jim Curtis, but a new report claims not everyone in her famously tight-knit circle is completely convinced by the wellness expert.
Some of the “Friends” alum’s closest pals reportedly remain cautious about Curtis, with one source telling Page Six that they have questions about his intentions as his relationship with Aniston becomes increasingly public. “Some of Jen’s friends aren’t totally sold on Jim yet,” the insider told the outlet.
According to the source, the concern is that Curtis “could be an opportunist” and that his behavior can sometimes appear “a bit performative.”

The insider said those close to the actress ultimately want her happiness, but some apparently haven’t reached the point where they completely trust Curtis. “Some of them are just having a difficult time fully trusting him right now,” the source said.

A second insider told Page Six that other people in Aniston’s circle “absolutely adore Jim” and believe he has blended naturally into her group of longtime friends. That source also claimed Aniston has not appeared this happy in some time.

The timing of the report is especially interesting because Aniston and Curtis have just made one of their most significant professional appearances together.
On Sept. 2, Aniston joined Curtis at New York City’s 92nd Street Y for an event connected to his new book, “The Book of Possibility.” Vogue described it as the couple’s first public work engagement together. Aniston moderated the conversation, discussing Curtis’ career, wellness philosophy and personal health journey.

During the event, Curtis discussed the serious health problems he experienced when he was younger, including spinal cord lesions, nerve damage, chronic pain and partial paralysis. His experiences ultimately became part of the foundation for his work as a coach, author and hypnotherapist.
