Miss Puerto Rico, Jennifer Colón, recently shared some happy news: a new addition is on the way to her family. The beauty queen is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her fourth child with her fiancé, photographer Johan López. Her sweet announcement was made live last Wednesday, March 13, during her appearance on Super Chef Celebrities, broadcasted on Wapa Television. “I have a very important announcement to make—I am pregnant. This will be my fourth and final child, and jokingly, we’re calling it our ‘super chef’ baby,’ an elated Jennifer expressed, already a proud mother from a previous marriage.”
In addition to announcing it on the TV show, Colón, 37, shared the wonderful news on her social media with photos where she appears alongside Johan López. Both are dressed in similar outfits; both wear light jeans. She sports a long-sleeve, unbuttoned satin white blouse that peeks at her belly, while the future dad wears a T-shirt of the same color.

Colón Alvarado is a mother to three children aged 13, 12, and two. She was married to the son of actor Fernando Allende, Elan Allende. They wed in September 2010 and, after 11 years together, divorced in 2021. Jennifer got engaged to Johan in December 2024 during a romantic trip to Athens, Greece.

Jennifer Colón made history in Puerto Rico by becoming the first woman over 28 to represent the island in the contest and the first mother to do so. Throughout the contest, she participated notably, making it to the Top 12 finalists. “Being the first is never easy. Breaking the mold, the framework, redefining what it means to be a beauty queen, is also not easy,” she told us in an interview leading up to her participation in the beauty contest.

Even the current Miss Universe, Danish Victoria Kjær Theilvig, commented on her post with the following words: “So happy for you mi amor.” Miss Peru Tatiana Calmell also joined the congratulations: “I’m dying, beautiful friend!!! Baby, we love you already, congratulations gorgeous!” Miss Venezuela Ileana Márquez Pedroza also commented: “Ahhhhhh 😍 Congratulations 🎊!!! What a beauty my Jenn, I love it, I’m so excited, love you huge.”

Former Miss Universe Puerto Rico queens also congratulated the future mom of four. Ashley Cariño, who wore the crown for the island in 2022, and Madison Anderson, representative of Puerto Rico in 2019, also expressed their joy for Jennifer Colón and her growing family.
