Jennifer Lopez is stepping into a new chapter, and so is her child, Emme Muñiz. Just one year after finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck, the superstar took a break from her dazzling summer and chart-topping tour to celebrate a quiet, emotional milestone, the first day of Emme’s senior year.
In a heartfelt Instagram Story, JLo shared a touching throwback photo, snuggled cheek-to-cheek with a younger Emme, with their eyes closed during a car ride.
“I just dropped off this little coconut to their first day of senior year,” the singer wrote. Looking back at this photo from a few years ago, it just reminds me that they’ll always be my beautiful baby!”
