Jennifer Lopez was a social media siren in her latest Instagram post, which saw the 57-year-old clad in an intricately patterned one-piece swimsuit that showcased her incredible figure on Labor Day.
The star completed her look with a matching patterned shawl over the plunging swimsuit, and wore her brunette locks down past her shoulders.
Jennifer appeared to be enjoying a day by the pool with friends over the long weekend, and sent fans into a frenzy in her comment section. “Happy Labor Day everybody,” she wrote, as one fan chimed in: “Our forever queen,” and another added: “Gorgeous as always.”
“That woman is unreal,” said another, while a fourth wrote: “The prettiest woman alive, I said what I said.”
The mother of two focuses on weight training to build muscle
The performer has always taken care of her physical health, but switched her focus to weight training in recent years to help build strength.
“I think I’ve gotten good at working out what I need to work out without killing myself,” she said on CBS Mornings. “I think when I was younger, I was like doing all the things and working so hard. And now, I work smarter, not harder.”

“That’s what my trainers and I think about a lot. It’s like, I have 40 minutes for you right now, and we need to maximize that – and we do,” she continued.
“I lift heavy; I do a lot of weights now because as you get older you need to start doing that in your 30s and you need to do that because, even if you’re into cardio and you want to be slim or drop weight or whatever, muscle is the thing that burns fat. And as we get older, we lose the muscle.”
Saying goodbye to the twins
Jennifer experienced a major life change in September after her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar, left home to begin their college careers.
The proud mom shared that they got into the five colleges that they applied to and would be attending university on scholarships.
“I’m just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do,” she told Extra. “They’re good people. They’re loving, good-hearted people. I always say to them… ‘Doesn’t matter if we get good grades so long as we’re good people.'”
She later shared on Watch What Happens Live that being an empty nester was a huge adjustment. “It’s an emotional time. It’s been the three of us. People have come in and out of my life, but it’s been the three of us.”
The proud mom opened up about being an empty nester
“I just never thought they would not be there,” the “Get on the Floor” singer added. “I thought, too, that they’re so independent. I’ve given them roots and wings. [I thought], ‘This is how it is. This is a healthy mom thing to do.'”
Jennifer recalled breaking down in tears while writing a tribute to her kids for their graduation. “Every time it comes up, I just start crying. I could cry right now.”
