Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, has shared the gender of his eighth child, two months after announcing his wife, Nadia Ferreira’s pregnancy. The couple are set to welcome a baby girl, announcing the news via a series of photographs posted to Instagram.
The shot depicted the pair posing on a boat in matching pale blue ensembles. Nadia wore a knitted co-ord that featured a long sleeve crop top and figure-hugging maxi skirt that skimmed her blossoming bump. Her brunette locks were left down in soft waves and she held a pair of pink baby shoes. Meanwhile, Marc wore a blue shirt with a pair of navy shirts and a cap as he embraced his wife.
“A surprise full of love… God through it all,” read the caption.
Marc announced that he is expecting a baby with his wife, Nadia, back in January. Taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of his wife’s baby bump. “Happy 3rd anniversary!! Qué regalo tan grande nos da la vida. Dios es grande. Marquito is going to be a big brother,” read the caption.
This will be Marc’s eighth time being a father, having welcomed his six older kids with previous partners.
Marc’s children
In June 1994, the singer welcomed his first child, a daughter named Arianna, with then-girlfriend Debbie Rosado. They also adopted a son together, Chase, who was born in 1995.
In February of 2001, he welcomed a son named Cristian Marcus Muñiz with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, his first wife, and they welcomed their second son, Ryan Adrian Muñiz, in August of 2003.
In February 2008, he welcomed twins Max and Emme Muñiz, with his second wife, Jennifer Lopez. Although Jennifer and Marc separated in 2011, they have maintained a strong bond and continue to co-parent their children amicably. Marc and Nadia welcomed their son Marco in June of 2023, five months after their wedding.
“The one regret would be that what I chose to do took so much of my time…What I would have done to have been a stay-at-home dad, and you know, witnessed every second of everything,” he wistfully remarked. “I would have loved that. Didn’t work out that way,” Marc shared on fatherhood in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning.
“It’s the one thing that just tugs at me going and — that’s the biggest sacrifice. And you start to wonder was it all worth it. Was it worth it? You know, on that level.”
