Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor Warren are marking a major mother-daughter milestone with something permanent. The actress and entrepreneur, 45, and her 18-year-old daughter recently got matching tattoos ahead of Honor’s move to college. The delicate designs feature an eye paired with an infinity symbol, giving the pair a sentimental reminder of their relationship as Honor prepares for a new chapter at Yale University.
Celebrity tattoo artist Daniel Winter, better known as Winterstone, created the matching ink. Alba’s tattoo appears on the outside of her forearm, while Honor’s version sits on her inner wrist.
The timing makes the mother-daughter tattoos especially meaningful. Honor recently graduated from high school and is preparing to leave home for Yale, the same university her father, Cash Warren, attended.

Honor offered a simple glimpse at the moment on social media, sharing a photo of herself with Alba and writing, “Me x Mama ♾️♾️♾️.”
Winter was equally enthusiastic about creating the tattoos for the pair. “Matching tattoos with her daughter!” the artist wrote, adding, “A memory they will share forever!”
Both tattoos combine an eye with the infinity symbol, creating matching pieces that can serve as permanent reminders of their connection even as Honor moves away from home.
It’s also not Alba’s first time using tattoos to celebrate her family. In 2019, she had the zodiac constellations of all three of her children tattooed on her arm. At the time, she identified them as “Honor Gemini, Haven Leo, Hayes Capricorn.”

The matching tattoos arrive just as Alba is navigating a milestone familiar to plenty of parents: sending her oldest child to college. Speaking with PEOPLE about Honor leaving home, Alba admitted the reality had not completely sunk in. “It hasn’t really hit me personally, but I think for any parent, just that milestone, it’s intense,” she said. “I don’t think you can prepare for it. You just have to tackle it when it happens.”
The tattoo session now looks like one of the ways Alba and Honor are commemorating the transition together. Their bond has been increasingly visible in recent months. In May, Honor accompanied her mom to a fashion dinner at Chateau Marmont, and Alba later shared a TikTok from the evening referring to her daughter as her “bestie.”
In July, Honor also gave her famous mom a makeover for TikTok, joking that Alba was “serving absolute face on em.”

Alba has been open about how emotional Honor’s transition into adulthood has been. When Honor graduated from high school in May 2026, Alba shared a heartfelt message celebrating her eldest daughter. “My baby girl graduated yesterday, and my heart aches with pride,” Alba wrote.
