Jessica Simpson shared a wholesome throwback photo online of herself as a young girl alongside her father, Joe Simpson, 68.
The singer celebrated his birthday on February 18 by sharing a moving tribute to him online.
In the sweet picture Jessica was seen wearing a pink polo shirt with shoulder-length brunette hair, as her father donned a white button-up shirt.
The duo were pictured sitting by the kitchen table, as Joe was seen opening up letters.
She dotingly captioned the post: “Happy birthday, Dad!!! You are my very favorite person to love and be loved by. You are the power of every idea and bring them all to life in electric ways. When you believe, everyone believes. When you teach, everyone understands. When you speak, everyone listens. You are genuinely magnetic!!!”
The fashion designer went on to celebrate her father’s unique and selfless traits.

While Jessica was growing up, Joe served as a Baptist minister in Texas and he left that behind once the singer got signed to Columbia Records, in an effort to help his daughter achieve her dreams.
