Legendary British actress Dame Joan Collins celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary with her husband, Percy Gibson, 60, in a touching tribute to the producer on social media.
The 92-year-old shared a photo of the pair taken at her son Alexander Newley’s wedding in 2025, which saw Joan in a blue dress that fell to her knees with a matching cape thrown over her shoulders.
She added a large blue hat and wore bold pink lipstick to complete the look, while Percy stood by her side in a black suit with a beige tie. “24 years of #weddedbliss,” Joan wrote in the caption. “Thank you darling Percy for making my life so wonderful (and he says #ditto).”
Joan’s friends and fans alike took to the comment section to share the love, with Elizabeth Hurley writing: “Congrats,” along with several heart emojis, while another supporter added: “Amazing…congratulations!!! You both look incredible!”
Joan and Percy tied the knot in February 2002, two years after meeting on the set of the play Love Letters, which he produced. “We hit it off immediately,” she wrote in an essay for the Daily Mail. “He was funny, engaging, good-looking, and after the show I would socialize with him, my co-star, George Hamilton, and my daughter, Katy.”
“Although Percy…is three decades younger than me, it didn’t matter as the camaraderie between us grew during that six-week theatre tour,” she added, before revealing they bonded over their “shared values”.
Joan had been married four times before she met Percy. She tied the knot with Maxwell Reed in 1952, and they went their separate ways in 1956, before she married Anthony Newley in 1963. The couple welcomed kids Tara and Alexander together before divorcing in 1971.

She then got hitched to Ron Kass in 1972 and they welcomed their daughter, Katyana, before splitting in 1983. Her marriage to Peter Holm lasted two years, from 1985 to 1987. The Dynasty star shared the secret to her long-lasting marriage to Percy with HELLO!, revealing that he was her “soulmate”.
“I think the secret to a happy marriage is to really support each other. Understand that there will be highs and lows. You won’t always agree about everything, but you need to enjoy each other’s company,” she explained.
“Percy is such an amazing man, he is so kind and so caring. People get married on the crest of lust. Once that’s gone, they look and think: ‘What the hell? Who is this person?’ There has to be something else to fall back on. If there isn’t, they start looking.”
“My children just adore him – and the grandchildren too,” she continued. “He’s wonderful with them, extremely patient. He’s always answering SOS calls when one of them has had their computer stolen or dropped their phone in the loo. He somehow manages to sort everything out, even when he’s in a different country.”
Percy even walked Joan’s daughter Tara down the aisle on her wedding day in 2016, as her father, Anthony Newley, had passed away in 1999.
