Divorce is a hot topic in midlife – so I’m delighted to be jumping online with the Second Act community this week (Wednesday 25th March, 1pm) for a lunchtime Q&A on all things divorce and separation.
As the co-founder of the award-winning separation service amicable, I hear divorce dilemmas every day – from how to tell the children to how to split the finances. I’ve navigated two divorces myself and I’m a qualified relationship counsellor, along with an outspoken advocate for the campaign to introduce no-fault divorce in the UK in 2020, regularly appearing in the media on all things divorce and separation and hosting my own podcast, The Divorce Podcast, which was recently a finalist in the British Podcast Awards.
I’m now proudly releasing my first book, drawing on all the wisdom and experience I’ve gathered over the years: Amicable divorce: Your practical guide to divorce without the drama is published this Thursday by Souvenir Press. My aim with both the book and our work at amicable is to offer clear, invaluable steps to separating and co-parenting without conflict, helping you complete your relationship as stronger, independent individuals.
I’m delighted to be speaking to the Second Act community on Wednesday from 1pm, answering your questions and offering advice (please note: I’ll be answering general questions about divorce and separation, but won’t be able to provide individual legal advice).
