Club staff and Gryffin himself believed the story, largely thanks to the impersonator’s uncanny look and his so-called “advance team” who played the part of Bieber’s entourage.
The club’s high-energy atmosphere worked in the impostor’s favor. In the chaos of flashing lights, VIP buzz, and packed crowds, he passed as the Canadian superstar with surprising ease. The ruse was nearly complete when Gryffin welcomed him into the DJ booth.
