Many are asking, “What’s going on with Justin Bieber at Coachella?” after the music and arts festival wrapped up its 2025 edition. The singer’s fans were raising eyebrows and red flags when the pop star was seen acting a little off during the second weekend of Coachella 2025.

A now-viral TikTok video shows the “Peaches” singer puffing on what looked like a joint while vibing to his song “What Do You Mean?” at a private event near the music festival in Indio, California.

Justin Bieber ignites concern

In the clip, Bieber’s body is hunched over, and he bobbles his head in a way that feels more like a “troubled artist” than a “Coachella chill.” Fans noticed. He was reportedly attending the exclusive Friday Nights in the Desert party. At another point in the same video, a shirtless Bieber is seen moving erratically to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us.”

Fans are worried, and they’re not staying quiet

Naturally, the Beliebers had thoughts. And feelings. And a whole lot of concern. “I’m sorry but he doesn’t look OK,” one fan commented on TikTok. “He’s not just ‘having fun,’ he’s definitely under some hard influence. :(“

Another added, “He needs better friends by [his] side.” A third: “I’m mad that the people around him are not doing anything.”

A fourth echoed what many were thinking: “Poor guy. I don’t understand why they say he is enjoying it. You can see clearly that he needs help.”

The energy around this is different. It is not just festival shenanigans but a possible cry for help wrapped in beats and haze.

This isn’t the first time fans have felt this way

Let’s rewind to February. Remember when Justin showed up to wife Hailey Bieber‘s Rhode pop-up looking a little too smiley and swaying side-to-side? Yeah, that moment had fans already on edge.

Add in a string of emotional Instagram posts, and things start to connect.

On March 16, Bieber posted a very all-caps note talking about his struggles with hate and how suppressing that emotion made him feel like he was “drowning.” He explained that he was taught not to feel hate as a kid, worsening things.

“How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?” he asked, dropping existential bombs like it was no big deal.

Then came his March 13 post about feeling unworthy. “Like I was a fraud,” he wrote. “Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, Damn if only they knew my thoughts.”

And let’s not forget March 8’s quiet mic drop: “We have nothing to prove today… Nothing is owed to us and we [don’t] owe anyone anything.” That one was set to Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke.”

His team says he’s fine, but the timeline says otherwise

Back in February, TMZ reported that people close to Bieber shut down health and drug rumors, calling them “exhausting and pitiful.” They also slammed the “harmful narratives” being spread about him.

But when you stack all the recent sightings, emotional posts, and now this Coachella clip, fans can’t help but wonder: Is everything really fine?

Justin has been keeping it relatively low-key in recent months, focusing on family life with Hailey and their baby boy, Jack Blues, who was born last August. But clearly, something’s bubbling under the surface. Whether he’s working through personal stuff or simply embracing a more expressive side of himself, fans are watching and worrying.
