Kaia Gerber has sold her stunning New York apartment. The actress and model had put her loft on sale at the end of last year, for a price tag of $5.79 million. The same was processed recently, with her taking $5.5 million.
Gerber’s apartment is a 2-bed, 3-bath space, with amenities like a living room fireplace, a balcony, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Located in SoHo, Gerber bought the apartment from Mike Myers, one of Saturday Night Live’s biggest legends and a renowned comedy actor.
Gerber had bought the apartment in 2019 for a price tag of $4 million. Before the sale, Gerber oversaw numerous renovations in the property, ensuring that the price tag was elevated.
“It remains one of the most beautifully finished loft-style homes in SoHo,” said Georgia McDonald, the real estate agent in charge of the property in an interview with the New York Post. “The newly updated apartment has barely been lived in, as Kaia recently relocated back to California.”
“This means the home is in truly pristine, move-in-ready condition for the next buyer.”
Kaia Gerber’s life in Los Angeles
Following Gerber’s decision to list her apartment for sale, she appears to have relocated to Los Angeles. While she has been modeling and acting for years, last year she signed on to the biggest project of her career so far, the Ryan Murphy show “The Shards,” based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel.
The cast is rounded out by Igby Rigney, Homer Gere, Graham Campbell, Hayes Warner, and Wes Bentley, and follows a group of prep school students while a serial killer is on the loose and circling the cast of young characters.
While “The Shards” is Gerber’s most notorious project in development, over the past years, the actress has been featured in numerous projects, including “Palm Royale,” “American Horror Story,” Saturday Night,” and more. This year, she’s starring in the film “Mother Mary,” alongside Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel. She’s also starring in “Outcome,” the new movie written and directed by Jonah Hill and starring Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz.
