Karol G had an emotional moment with fans during her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour stop outside Washington, D.C. On August 2, she took the stage at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
Viral videos showed the Colombian icon crying on stage while she thanked the crowd for their unwavering support. “I’m so, so, incredibly grateful for the love you always give me,” Karol told them.
It also gave fans insight into what she could be dealing with off the stage, describing the feeling as a “different reality.”
“When I stand on this stage, it feels like I’m seeing a different reality. You all make me feel like you truly love me, that you support me, that you give me confidence,” she said through tears.
The heartfelt speech came just moments before her track “Coleccionando Heridas” with Marco Antonio Solís, one of the most vulnerable songs in her Tropitour setlist.
The ballad opens with the emotional lyrics in Spanish: “Maybe love isn’t meant for me? Maybe I wasn’t born for this, I don’t know how to ask for it. Why do I always get the opposite?”
Karol G debuts a new track
Also during her performance, she performed an unreleased track from her forthcoming album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto (I Don’t Regret Feeling So Much), due out Aug. 7.
The song opens with lyrics about an ex, and the reality of pretending you’ve moved on when deep down you haven’t. “If you see him, tell him I’m fine, that I’ve never been better, that I’m over it, that I’ve finally forgotten… lie to him, please.”
© Mike CoppolaThe lyrics, of course, have sparked speculation that the song is about her ex, Feid. After collaborating in 2021, they went public in 2022 and seemed to be one of the strong couples in the industry.
Fans were shocked in January 2026 when news broke that they split. A source told TMZ at the time they had ended the relationship months prior.
Fans rushing the stage

It started a terrifying string of concertgoers hoping for the same experience. At her July 29 show in Toronto, a male fan rushed the stage while she was performing, grabbing the singer by the arm before security intervened.
Even as security attempted to remove him, the fan reached for Karol a second time before finally being escorted away. Karol handled it with grace, but from the clip, fans think she looked scared.
The viral video has the internet asking what is going on with her security team that this keeps occurring, and is asking fans to stay in their seats to protect the singer’s mental and physical space.
