Katherine Schwarzenegger has opened up about the ‘clean’ lifestyle swaps she’s made for her children at home. The author took to Instagram Stories on April 2 to share an update with her followers regarding the change.
Spotlighting the work of parenting expert Dr. Natasha Beck, best known as Dr. Organic Mommy, Katherine penned a message on social media. “If you’re like me and are constantly bombarded about all the toxic things in our daily lives and find yourself wanting to make a change that paralyze us to where to begin this episode is for you,” she wrote.
“Today, Dr. Natasha Beck of @dr.organicmommy is here to help demystify nontoxic living and give some practical guidelines for moving toward a healthier lifestyle.”
Katherine continued: “When it comes to kids, switching out products might be easy, but being mindful of what they eat can sometimes be tricky and how we go about it is really important. Dr. Beck encourages parents to work for progress, not perfection, when working to get toxins out of their homes.”
She concluded: “Whether you’re just starting out of looking to further your nontoxic journey, Dr. Beck reminds us that small changes can lead to big impacts.”
Katherine’s family life
Chris Pratt married Katherine in 2019, and the pair share three children – daughters, Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina, and son, Ford Fitzgerald. The Jurassic World star also shares a a son named Jack with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.
The family resides in a sprawling $15.6 million mansion in California that features an outdoor pool, a grand dining room decked with sky-high ceilings, and a spacious kitchen.
The couple have previously opened up about growing their nest. “I come from a big family, so I love the idea of having a lot of kids around and a big family,” Katherine told Us Weekly in 2022. “Whatever God has in his plan for us is what we’ll do.”
“I feel really lucky to be able to have obviously an amazing role model in my mom, and just being able to see how she balances it all. Just learning from her, being able to bounce things off of her and, at the end of the day, just knowing that family time is the most important time.”
The couple largely keep their children out of the spotlight. “We were allowed to be our own people and have our own identity and kind of choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable … It’s something that’s really important to my husband and I to give to our kids and to be able to have that privacy, and not necessarily show much of them on social media,” shared Katharine on The Today Show.
