New York City streets were graced with a touch of star power this Christmas Eve as Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, 19, were spotted doing some last-minute holiday shopping.
The mother-daughter duo’s coordinated casual-chic looks made for a rare, stylish sighting. Holmes, 47, carried the spirit of the season in a cream midi-length peacoat, complemented by a taupe knit beanie, bright red trousers, and sleek black flats.
With a black handbag and a pair of shopping boxes in hand, the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ alum effortlessly balanced festive flair with practical errands.
Suri, currently on winter break from her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, mirrored her mother’s off-duty style. The college student layered a dual-toned green North Face puffer jacket over a light gray hoodie, paired with flared dark wash jeans and brown suede boots.

Last year, she began her studies at Carnegie Mellon after graduating from the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City.
