Katie Holmes is giving fans another glimpse into her new romance with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky.
The 47-year-old actress brought her 38-year-old boyfriend as her date to Michael Kors’ 45th anniversary dinner in East Hampton, New York, on Thursday night. The appearance comes just weeks after the couple made their relationship public.
Holmes Brings Yarmosky Into Her Inner Circle
Holmes appeared smitten as Yarmosky mingled with some of her famous friends at the star-studded event, including Naomi Watts and Christie Brinkley.
The actress dressed for the occasion in a royal purple, ankle-length draped gown, pairing the look with red square-toe heels and a cream clutch. Yarmosky kept things classic in a fitted black crewneck sweater and tailored trousers.
The couple later posed together for photos shared on Michael Kors’ Instagram account, which Holmes also reposted.
Yarmosky appeared comfortable around Holmes’ social circle, another sign that their relationship is continuing to move forward.
The Couple Has Been Making Public Appearances
Holmes and Yarmosky first sparked romance rumors earlier this summer before stepping out together publicly.
Just three weeks ago, the pair attended a Ferragamo pop-up event in Bridgehampton, New York, where they coordinated in matching navy blue outfits. When Elle asked Holmes about their twinning style, she simply explained, “I think we just have similar taste.”
© Lexie MorelandEarlier in July, the couple also attended the East Hampton premiere of The Invite. According to an eyewitness who spoke with People, the two arrived holding hands, with Yarmosky reportedly whispering in Holmes’ ear while she laughed.
“They seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” the source said.
How Holmes Met Her New Boyfriend
Holmes reportedly met Yarmosky at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City in June.
The artist, who was born in 1987, is a New York native whose work explores themes including aging, time and memory. According to his official website, those subjects have fascinated him since childhood.
Yarmosky earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York City’s School of Visual Arts in 2010.
Holmes’ Dating History
Before getting together with Yarmosky, Holmes was romantically linked to musician Bobby Wooten III, chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., and actor Jamie Foxx.
The Dawson’s Creek alum was previously married to Tom Cruise. The former couple share 20-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.
