Some celebrities like to keep their PDA and romance private, but Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau aren’t hiding the love they have for each other.
The pair have been soaking up the summer sun in Europe, and this week they packed on the PDA during a beach day in Saint-Tropez, looking every bit like a couple enjoying the honeymoon phase.
The singer and the former Canadian prime minister were photographed spending the day at Les Palmiers on Pampelonne Beach.
They shared passionate kisses in the surf, wrapped their arms around each other during leisurely walks along the shoreline and barely left one another’s side.
Perry, 41, stunned in a cream one-piece swimsuit paired with a crocheted cover-up and bucket hat, while Trudeau, 54, kept it casual in navy swim trunks as they soaked up the French Riviera sunshine.
The affectionate outing comes after what has become a whirlwind European summer together. They were recently spotted riding jet skis in France.
The couple first sparked romance rumors after being spotted sharing dinner in Montreal while Perry was on tour in Canada.
Since then, they’ve been photographed vacationing aboard a yacht in the South of France, laughing together on deck and even sharing playful moments as Trudeau helped apply sunscreen to Perry’s back.
While neither has shied away from being photographed together, their latest beach day marks one of their most openly affectionate outings yet.
According to a recent Us Weekly report, Perry and Trudeau are already thinking beyond their European getaway. An insider told the publication the pair plans to use August to “re-stabilize” their lives and establish a routine together after spending much of the summer traveling between Perry’s festival dates.
After stepping down as Canada’s prime minister in March 2025, Trudeau reportedly envisioned a much quieter life. He bought a home and planned to settle back into Montreal, but his relationship with Perry has taken life in an unexpected direction.
According to the Us Weekly source, he has “yet to settle into the home because of his relationship and the new world they live in.” Still, those close to the couple are optimistic. “Everyone is rooting for them, but they need to settle down a bit, so that’s the plan,” the insider added.
The source added that they’ve already been navigating family life overseas, with Perry’s daughter, Daisy, whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom, and Trudeau’s three children remaining a priority as they figure out what their relationship looks like long-term.
“They will finally have time to settle in as a blended family,” the insider said, adding that both Perry and Trudeau want to create “a stable system” for their children.
Perry has also been candid about how transformative the relationship has been. During the Tribeca premiere of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour, the pop star revealed she is “very in love,” later describing Trudeau as “the love of my life.” “To have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now,” she said.
Both have moved on
As for Bloom, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was recently photographed arriving at a marina in Mallorca alongside German model Luisa Laemmel before the pair boarded a luxury yacht together.
They first sparked rumors in February when they left the Super Bowl together and were recently in Milan.
With both the exes in Europe, they’ve been navigating co-parenting. “Over the last month, they have been co-parenting in Europe, and their exes Sophie and Orlando have been there,” the US source explained.
