Kelly Osbourne is keeping the promise she made to her dad. The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Stone was present at her dad’s funeral, serving as an anchor to her devasted mother and her siblings.
According to a source, all through the funeral, Kelly was focused on keeping a promise that she made to her dad.
“The last few days have been a tough ride, but Kelly has been focused on executing plans with her mum,” said an insider to The Daily Mail. “Of course there have been tears, but she promised her dad – who openly spoke about not wanting people to mourn but rather celebrate his life – that she would not crumble in public.”
All through the funeral, Kelly appeared stoic and made space for her family and her mom, holding on to them as they grieved the death of Ozzy. The source claims that Ozzy “always pushed them to ‘celebrate what people have done in life, not f***ing worry about what’s next.'”
The source also added that the people close to the family were “concerned about the impact this is having on Sharon,” who looked heartbroken at her husband’s funeral.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne first met in the ’70s, due to her being the daughter of Ozzy’s then-manager. During that time, Ozzy left Black Sabbath due to having a substance abuse problem, resulting in Sharon becoming his manager, a job that she embraced for the rest of their lives together.
The couple married in 1982, in Hawaii. They proceeded to have a very notorious marriage, sharing three kids together and the reality TV show “The Osbournes,” which ran for four seasons. Ozzy struggled with addiction through the years, with there being rumors of infidelities. Still, the couple remained together.
“Some days good, some days terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while,” said Osbourne in 2016, in an appearance on “Good Morning America.”

In 2022, Sharon shared a tribute to commemorate their anniversary. “Over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates,” Sharon wrote on Instagram. “Always at each other’s side. I love you Ozzy.”
The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this year, on July 4th of this year, one day before Ozzy’s final live performance with Black Sabbath.
