Kelly Osbourne has split from her fiancé and father of her child, Slipknot musician Sid Wilson, seven months into their engagement, HELLO! understands. Sid proposed to Kelly in July 2025 after more than three years of dating and welcoming their son, Sidney, together in November 2022.
News of the couple’s split was first reported by The Daily Mail, which claimed Kelly has been struggling with the grief of losing her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July last year. A source revealed that the couple had tried to work through challenges for their son but had decided to go their separate ways.
Sid, 49, and Kelly, 41, first met in 1999 at the music festival Ozzfest, which Kelly’s parents founded. The pair remained friends up until around 2022, when their relationship turned romantic. Sid then got down on one knee backstage at the final Black Sabbath show in Birmingham.
A representative for Kelly declined to comment when approached by HELLO!.
Sid proposed at Ozzy’s final show
Kelly’s parents, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, were both there to witness Sid’s surprise proposal to her backstage at her dad’s final show. Ozzy took to the stage for the last time with Black Sabbath on 5 July 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham – just weeks before he died at age 76 from cardiac arrest following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. “He is doing so well, and every day is a new day,” Kelly told HELLO! in the lead-up to her dad’s show.
The performance ended up being a milestone moment for his daughter as well, with Kelly later sharing the heartwarming proposal footage on social media. “I think this picture says it all,” Kelly captioned a candid shot of Sid down on one knee with a $100k diamond ring in hand. Sharon was smiling excitedly in the background while Sid and Kelly’s brother Jack watched on, and Ozzy sat beside the Slipknot musician.
In the comments, Kelly confirmed she had “no clue” what was going to happen. “I was trying to leave and my mum dragged me back to the party and asked me to find her a microphone. I thought she was just gonna thank everyone for coming.” Sid proposed with an 18k yellow gold ring, which was custom-designed to reflect his nickname for Kelly: ‘Honeybee’.
Kelly was previously engaged twice. Chef Matthew Mosshart proposed to her in 2013, with HELLO! exclusively sharing the details in a photoshoot and interview. However, the couple called it quits in early 2014. She was then engaged to model and DJ Luke Worrall at the end of 2008 for more than a year before they went their separate ways in July 2010.
They share a three-year-old son

Kelly has shared the occasional photo from their family farm life surrounded by chickens, cows and other animals on her social media. “I love my family and I love my farm!” Kelly captioned one post from November 2025 with pictures of her, Sid and their son Sidney on the property, which is reportedly around 100 acres.
Kelly and her family made the UK a more permanent home base after Ozzy’s passing. “I stay where my mom is, and I can’t leave my dad, so. My son goes to school here now,” she told The Mirror, revealing her son is enrolled in school in the UK and they go between Britain and Iowa.
Kelly has spoken publicly about her grief since losing her dad last year, penning an emotional letter in February about her struggle. “Grief is heavy. Grief is cruel. Grief is relentless. And l am so tired of the pain,” the star wrote candidly.
