It’s official – Joaquin Consuelos’ run in the latest Broadway revival of the famed play Death of a Salesman has come to an end.
The show opened with previews on March 6, followed by opening night on April 9. After extending its run due to popular demand, the show finally closed on Sunday, August 9, the same night as Every Brilliant Thing.
Joaquin Consuelos’ final bow as Young Biff
Joaquin, 23, played Young Biff, the younger version of Christopher Abbott’s character Biff Loman. He made his Broadway debut with the show, the same time his dad Mark Consuelos made his own Broadway debut with a revival of the play Fallen Angels.
The young actor took to his Instagram Stories with a clip showing the cast’s final bow ahead of their closing show, which was later also shared by his mom Kelly Ripa, showing her support for her youngest. Plus, he also included a since-deleted clip of one of his cousins catching him wink at her camera during his bow at the end.
Fans reacted to the show in the comments section of the clip, leaving responses like: “The best show I have ever seen. Saw it 3x and recommended it to everyone who would listen to me obsess over it,” and: “As an actor, I am so happy I got to see this show. Bravo to the cast and crew of this spectacular show.”
What is Death of a Salesman about?
Per an official synopsis on the famed play: “One man and his family are caught up in the pressures and delusions of living the American Dream. [Arthur] Miller’s play is the story of a traveling salesman whose illusions of picture-perfect business and family life cave in on him.”

The Joe Mantello directed revival won a leading six Tonys at the 2026 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play. Nathan Lane was nominated for Leading Actor, while Laurie Metcalf won Best Featured Actress in a Play.

While the youngest member of the Consuelos-Ripa clan does have a few TV projects lined up for production, he does intend to put his stage skills to good use again soon.
“I really enjoyed this, and I’m already mourning it — I’m already sad that it’s going to be over,” he recently told The New York Times in a joint interview with his dad Mark. “And now I want to do everything. I don’t want to limit myself.”
