Kevin Hart had fans doing a double take as he stepped out alongside basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, with the pair’s striking height difference instantly stealing the spotlight.
The comedian and the former NBA star were all smiles as they attended the DraftKings x Sports Illustrated – Augusta After Dark event in Martinez, Georgia, delivering a series of lighthearted moments that perfectly captured their playful dynamic.
Dressed in a navy hoodie, white shorts and a green cap, Kevin kept things casual as he posed next to the towering Shaquille, who looked effortlessly cool in a grey polo shirt, dark trousers and signature sunglasses.
Standing side by side, the contrast between the two stars was impossible to ignore, with Shaquille’s imposing 7ft1 frame towering over Kevin, who stands at 5ft2.
At one point, Kevin wrapped his arms around Shaquille in a joking embrace, leaning into the moment as the basketball icon laughed, clearly in on the joke. In another snap, the duo posed with relaxed confidence, Kevin flashing a hand sign while Shaquille held up a peace sign, both appearing completely at ease.
The comedian and fans of his were left in disbelief when Kevin shared a photo of how his son Hendrix, 17, is already towering over him.
In addition to Hendrix, the Jumanji actor also shares daughter Heaven, 20, with Torrei Hart (née Lorin), and son Kenzo, seven, and daughter Kaori, four, with wife Eniko Hart (née Parrish).
Kevin enjoyed a family beach vacation, he took to Instagram and shared a photo featuring his teenage son. In it, the two are posing on the edge of the water, and Hendrix is towering over Kevin, who is 5’5″.
“Not sure when this happened but it happened…. He’s officially towering over me,” Kevin marveled in his caption. “[Expletive] pisses me off,” he then joked, and gushed: “But I love the kid to death… My guuuuuyyyy.”
Fans were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and rave over it, with one writing: “OMG! The way these kids grow so fast is so special,” as others followed suit with: “Safe to say he got the height from his mom!” and: “Ohhhh the baby is growing up! It happens over night,” as well as: “He is definitely mama’s boy. He’s taller than his dad. You have beautiful children Kevin!! Great job boss!”
