The holidays are upon us, and as families decorate their Christmas trees and string up lights, it’s also a time to reflect on those who have lost loved ones. In a touching tradition, Khloé Kardashian sent Vanessa Bryant a gingerbread house filled with emotional and beautiful details. The heartfelt tribute was dedicated to the entire family, with a special nod to Kobe and Gianna Bryant, who tragically lost their lives in 2020 in a helicopter accident.
The gingerbread house clearly took hours to complete, with personal touches that made it incredibly special. On the roof, the names of the living members of the Bryant family—Vanessa, Natalia, Capri, and Bianka—were beautifully written with foliage. On the right side, Kobe and Gianna’s names were adorned with angel wings.
The windows of the house each represented a different family member, and at the front door were four adorable gingerbread figures, symbolizing the women who continue to keep the Bryant family’s presence alive, filling it with love and magic.
Vanessa clearly appreciated the gesture, sharing the photo on her Instagram story, tagging Khloé, and expressing her love. Khloé reposted it, adding, “I love you V!!!!!”
As noted by The US Sun, the pricey gingerbread houses have become a Kardashian family tradition since Kris Jenner introduced them in 2018. With a hefty price tag of approximately $1,500, each custom house is meticulously designed and looks like a true work of art.
The Kardashian-Bryant bond
The Kardashian family has always supported Vanessa, especially after the heartbreaking loss of her husband and daughter. Vanessa and her daughter Natalia were guests at Khloé’s 40th birthday earlier this year, and the two families have continued to show each other love and support throughout the years.
Following Kobe’s passing, Koko expressed her feelings on Instagram, “No one should ever experience what the families involved are going through,” she continued. “This has affected us all so much but I cannot begin to imagine what Vanessa is feeling losing her husband and her baby girl. I cry just thinking about it. I am praying for the Bryant family, the Altobelli family and the families of all who perished in this unthinkable tragedy. Rest In Peace Legend.”
