Khloé Kardashian jokes about having a baby with Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick as she reveals major dating update

Khloé Kardashian is ready for a new chapter, and apparently, nothing is off the table.

The reality star delivered one of the most unexpected moments in the newly released trailer for Season 8 of The Kardashians, joking about having a baby with Scott Disick, the longtime ex of her sister Kourtney Kardashian.

In the playful scene, Khloé, 42, sits outside with Scott when she asks him, “So, are we having a baby together or…?” The teaser quickly cuts away, leaving his response, and the full context behind the eyebrow-raising question, for the upcoming season.

Scott famously dated Kourtney on and off for years before their 2015 split. The former couple share three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, and Scott has remained close to the Kardashian-Jenner family in the years since their breakup.

Khloé and Scott have also developed a particularly close friendship, with their playful dynamic documented throughout the family’s years on reality television. The pair have even addressed bizarre rumors about their relationship before, including past speculation that Scott had gotten Khloé pregnant.

Scott isn’t the only member of the family on the receiving end of Khloé’s baby humor in the new trailer.

In another scene, Khloé turns to her mom, Kris Jenner, with an equally unexpected proposition. “I wanted to know, would you want to have my baby?” she asks, before clarifying, “It would be surrogate.”

The moment leaves Kris visibly amused, but the back-to-back jokes also arrive as Khloé appears to be entering a different phase of her personal life.

Elsewhere in the trailer, the mom of two reveals she may finally be ready to open herself up to romance again after years away from dating.

Khloé has previously spoken candidly about stepping away from relationships following her tumultuous romance with Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares daughter True and son Tatum.

In a 2025 interview with ELLE, she revealed that she was approaching four years of celibacy, explaining that focusing on herself and her children had changed her priorities.

Now, Season 8 appears poised to show whether that outlook is beginning to shift as Khloé considers meeting someone new.

The trailer also sees Kendall Jenner addressing the years-old speculation surrounding her friendship with Cara Delevingne.

The two models have been close for years and famously fueled fascination with their friendship during their rise in the fashion world. Season 8 appears ready to revisit those rumors directly, with Kendall commenting on the speculation in the new footage.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian gets serious about her health.

One of the trailer’s more emotional moments shows the SKIMS founder in a hospital setting as she reveals she has been diagnosed with esophagitis.

The revelation comes after Kim has previously documented other health concerns on the family’s reality series, making the latest diagnosis another deeply personal storyline viewers will see unfold when the Kardashians return.

According to Hulu, the new season will see Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie revisit their past while facing new personal challenges and continuing to build their respective businesses and careers. Season 8 of The Kardashians premieres October 8 on Hulu and Disney+.
