After years of dedication, Kim Kardashian expects to officially become a lawyer in two weeks.
The 45-year-old stopped by the Graham Norton Show this week, where she talked about her future, saying: “I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law.”
As she awaits the results of the bar exam, Kim says she’s confident that she’s only days away from fulfilling a longtime dream. While she’s juggling her entertainment career and legal ambitions for the time being, the reality star is considering giving everything up to be a lawyer, eventually.
“Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer,” she confessed. “That’s what I really want.”
Kardashian has spent six years working on a law apprenticeship, wrapping the program on May 21, 2025. She passed the “baby bar” on her fourth try in December 2021, the first step on her way to becoming a licensed attorney.
She went on to take the California bar, which considered the hardest in the nation, in July. She will find out the results on November 7, just two days before they’re made public on November 9 at 6pm PT, per Daily Mail.
With her dreams of becoming a lawyer, the SKIMS founder is following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian. Her dad was a defense attorney, most known for representing O.J. Simpson during his 1995 murder trial. He passed away in July 2003 from esophageal cancer at age 59.
During her appearance on the Graham Norton show, Kim also opened up about her first big acting role as Allura Grant in the upcoming Disney+ series, All’s Fair. The show follows a team of high-powered female attorneys who leave their firm to start their own company as Allura vows to destroy her younger husband who married her for money.
“Working with a cast like this I wanted to make sure I was completely prepared,” Kim said about the series. “What I could control was absolutely knowing my lines, being on time and being super professional. These women are the greatest at what they do, and I just watched and learned every day.”
