Kim Kardashian is continuing to work on her acting career. The notorious media personality is currently working on her new film, “The Fifth Wheel,” following a group of girlfriends on a disastrous group trip. New photos captured on set show Kardashian with a new hairstyle, having the best time with her co-stars.
Kardashian was photographed with her script on set, wearing a white outfit made up of a jacket and a dress. Her hair is blonde and short, with the whole look coming together with a dark blue handkerchief with polka dots wrapped around her neck.
In one photo, Kardashian is seen laughing. In the other, she’s being carried away by her co-star, Fortune Feimster, while Eva Longoria, the project’s director, stands on the edge of the image saying something to them.
More details about ‘The Fifth Wheel’
More details of “The Fifth Wheel” were shared in late January, sharing photos on set of the project’s main stars, including Kardashian, Feimster, Brenda Song, and Nikki Glaser, who make up an exciting and clashing group of funny personalities.
“A group of best friends from high school attempt to reconnect during a weekend jaunt to Vegas. When a hot outsider (played by Kim Kardashian) crashes the weekend, they’re forced to face their messy lives, bad decisions, and unraveling friendships,” reads the film’s official logline.
It marks Kardashian’s second major role following her performance in “All’s Fair,” the TV show written by Ryan Murphy and inspired by Kardashian’s own ambitions to pursue law. The series co-stars an incredible cast that includes this year’s Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash, and more.
The film also represents Longoria’s return to the director’s chair. In the past, she’s directed films like “Flamin’ Hot” and the sports documentary “La Guerra Civil: Chavez vs de la Hoya.” She’s also directed various TV show episodes, including “Devious Maids” and “The Gordita Chronicles.” She’s one of the few and most notorious examples of actresses who’ve also focused on directing.
“Getting ‘Flamin’ Hot’ was a very hard job to get because I didn’t have the body of work to prove I could do the job, and I couldn’t get the job because I didn’t have the body of work. We all go through that challenge, we know we can do it,” she said in an interview with USA Today. “We know we haven’t done it, but we can do it.”
