Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s youngest son, Knox Jolie Pitt, has often been spotted alone over the past couple of months. It makes sense. The 15-year-old has been exposed to a larger spotlight thanks to his mom’s resurgence and her critically acclaimed performance in the film “Maria,” which now predicts her as one of this year’s favorites come awards season.
He’s also older and enjoys a freedom that he previously didn’t have access to.
Earlier this week, Knox was photographed carrying out some errands with a friend.
He was spotted carrying some grocery bags in his local grocery store in Los Feliz. He wore a pink shirt and cream-colored cargo pants that he matched with Nike sneakers.
Knox was accompanied by his friend who wore an outfit made up of a jacket, pants, and a blue button-up.
Jolie and Pitt’s children have grown protected from the spotlight
Despite the notoriety of their parents, Jolie and Pitt’s kids have grown relatively sheltered from the spotlight. The former couple shares six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17.
In recent interviews, Jolie has addressed her kids and their desire for privacy. “None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time,” she said in a recent appearance on “Good Morning America.”
“They’re quite private,” Jolie revealed that while her kids were born very publicly, they can reclaim their privacy as they grow up. “They weren’t born with privacy, right?” she said. “I hope they can have that as they grow.”
Even though Knox appears to have no desire to become an actor like his parents, he has appeared in films before. In 2016, he had a role in “Kung Fu Panda 3” voicing Kuku, one of the young characters of the franchise.
“They don’t really want to be actors, but I didn’t want them to miss the opportunity. They came in, and they had a lot of fun with it,” said Jolie in 2016 to Entertainment Tonight.
