The British actress Lily James has put on a killer sartorial display at Milan Fashion Week so far, but her last striking look may be our favourite yet.
Stepping out for Tod’s, the 36-year-old Cinderella star was a vision, rocking a brown all-leather look comprised of a mini skirt, over which Lily added an oversized fringed jacket in the same chestnut hue.
“A beautiful day in Milano. @tods Grazie mille, such elegance,” penned Lily of her day in the fashion capital.
Completing Lily’s look was picture-perfect glam. She styled her brunette tresses in stylish waves, her makeup comprised of fluttery black lashes, bold brushes of honey-hued bronzer and a glossy brown lip for good measure.
As for accessories, the Swiped actress added a pair of glamorous sunglasses and an exceptional petite handbag in black leather from the aforementioned fashion brand. Lily’s tiny bag perfectly matched the on-trend kitten heels she wore, completing her runway-ready ensemble.
Lily’s Milanese foray went down well with friends and fans, who flooded the comments with words such as “Beautiful,” “Gorgeous,” and “Belíssima.”
Lily’s fashion-forward week
Lily couldn’t be on a more winning streak with her fashion if she tried. The Pam and Tommy actress’s all-leather look followed a monochrome moment just hours before, when she popped up at London Fashion Week.
Sitting front row at the star-studded Erdem show, Lily chose a distressed long-sleeved dress featuring an optical illusion-style design.
Confidence is key
When it comes to her fashion, Lily previously told Elle that she “has to feel confident in what she’s wearing.”
“I work with my stylist, Rebecca Corbin Murray, to find an outfit that looks and feels right. It really is a strong feeling as soon as I put the right outfit on. We’ve worked together for a lot of time, so there’s a great synergy between us. I have to feel confident in what I’m wearing, and if I don’t, I feel so nervous, and I can’t walk out the door,” the SAG Award-winning actress said of dressing for a high-profile event.
As for her own personal, day-to-day style, she explained: “I’m very low-key in my personal style. I am always dressing up for the characters I play and different events I go to, so in my downtime, I love to be quite simple and effortless. Good tailoring is key, as well as a great handbag.”
