Lily James shows off tiny tattoo in strapless gown with thigh-high split

Lily James is on a winning streak this February with her dazzling array of spectacular looks, but this may be her most daring yet. 

Heading out on Thursday evening, the Mamma Mia actress was sure to show off her tiny back tattoo in a killer strapless Stella McCartney black gown with a dramatic thigh-high split. The event on the agenda was the Legends Gala at the Natural History Museum in London.

The elegant neckline of the structured gown perfectly showed off the number nine tattoo she has on her shoulder.

Taking to her Instagram account, Lily showed off her picture-perfect glam for the evening, which was comprised of a very natural complexion, thick black lashes and rosy, glossy lips – divine!

As for her hair, Lily, 36, wore her chestnut-hued tresses down, slicked with a middle parting.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the Swiped star’s dazzling look and rushed to the comments to share their appreciation. 

Lily’s close friend and model, Poppy Delevingne, was one of the first to rush in, writing: “Heaven.” One follower penned: “Beautiful as always xx.” Meanwhile, a third added: “Skin glowingggggg!!”

Lily’s killer week

The outing comes just hours after the Cinderella actress reunited with her Mamma Mia co-star, Pierce Brosnan, on Tuesday.

The pair enjoyed an elegant evening, attending the Krug and Max Richter ‘Every Note Counts’ music tasting at Roundhouse. For the occasion, Lily stepped out in a long-sleeved midi gown complete with two straps creating a choker-like neckline.

Lily and Pierce, who starred alongside each other in Mamma Mia 2 and Cliffhanger, couldn’t have looked happier to see each other while catching up at the event. Lily previously expressed her fondness for Pierce, telling People Magazine, “He’s one of life’s true gentlemen.”

Lily and Pierce were joined at the event by Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones, who attended the event alongside her rarely-seen photographer boyfriend, Ben Seed.
