Lizzo turned heads in a sizzling, skin-tight pink look at the Los Angeles premiere of Paris Hilton’s new documentary, Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, on January 20th. The singer has been open about the work she has put into her recent transformation, and she looked radiant as she confidently posed on the red carpet.

The pop star, who since January 2023 has lowered her body fat by 16 per cent and her BMI by 10.5 points by eating filling, flavorful dishes, gave a curvy display as she posed for photos with confidence.

Lizzo, who trains three times a week, does cardio, pickleball and loves to hike and walk on the beach, completed her Barbie Girl look with dazzling hooped earrings, shiny strapped heels, and her locks in a high ponytail that curled down past her shoulders.

The Good as Hell singer recently admitted she was motivated to lose weight because she was “sick and tired” of her figure trumping everything else about her. In a November 2025 post shared to Substack titled, “Why is everybody losing weight and what do we do? Sincerely, a person who’s lost weight”.

“People could not see my talent as a musician because they were too busy accusing me of making ‘being fat’ my whole personality.”

She continued, “I had to actively work against ‘mammy’ tropes by being hypersexual and vulgar because being a mammy by definition is being desexualized.” Lizzo added, “And that’s the reality that nobody wants to talk about. We’re in an era where the bigger girls are getting smaller because they’re tired of being judged.”

But, ultimately, Lizzo, real name Melissa Jefferson, is “still a proud big girl.” She wrote, “So here we are halfway through the decade, where extended sizes are being magically erased from websites. Plus-sized models are no longer getting booked for modeling gigs. And all of our big girls are not-so-big anymore.” She added, “I am still a proud big girl. Objectively Big. Over 200 pounds. And I love myself as much as I’ve loved myself, no matter what the scale says.”

In July, Lizzo shared that she had discovered “what my body wants”, which has made the star feel better about herself. The four-time Grammy award-winning singer admitted to Women’s Health, “If your body wants salty, crunchy chips, go eat some chips or eat a pickle. If your body wants sweets, eat them cookies. If your body wants bread, eat the bread. If your body wants butter, eat the butter.”

The singer has had a rocky relationship with food, and she explained, “There have been times when I’ve undernourished myself. There have been times when I was bingeing. I feel like right now, when I intuitively eat and listen to my body, that always works out for me.”

And now Lizzo, who slowly introduced animal protein to her diet following a trip to Japan, dodges “nasty food” and has created a protein-and-veggie-heavy menu for herself. She said, “If it has a lot of chemicals in it, that ain’t doing s*** for you. Avoid those kinds of foods like the plague.”
