Luke Hemsworth is ready to turn a long-running family idea into reality. The actor recently revealed he would “absolutely” jump at the chance to star alongside his famous siblings, Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth, if the right script lands in their hands.
Promoting his upcoming film “Beast”, which hits theaters April 10, Luke opened up about the possibility of a Hemsworth trio collaboration, and he didn’t hold back. “I would love to do something,” Luke shared. “And we’ve talked about it a lot. I think we all just need to find the right project.”
The Hemsworth Brothers Collaboration Fans Are Waiting For
The idea of all three Hemsworth brothers sharing the screen has been circulating for years, and Luke confirmed it’s not just fan speculation—it’s a real conversation within the family. Still, timing and the perfect concept remain the biggest hurdles.
As Luke joked, coordinating schedules with one of Hollywood’s busiest stars isn’t easy. “We need to get Chris booked in about two years in advance,” he said with a laugh, adding, “He’s incredibly in demand.”
Even outside of scheduling conflicts, there’s another relatable sibling dynamic at play. “Either of us getting each other to watch each other’s stuff is the battle,” Luke admitted. “We’re always like, ‘Have you seen that yet?’ ‘Oh, no, I know.’ I’ll get to it, man, I promise.”
Still, the enthusiasm is clearly there. Luke even put out a playful call to action for writers: “So if anyone wants to write something, then please, please come and see us.”
Inside Luke Hemsworth’s New Movie ‘Beast’
Before any family blockbuster happens, Luke is stepping into the spotlight with “Beast,” a gritty story centered on a retired MMA champion pulled back into the fight world. The role marks another intense performance for the actor, best known for his work in Westworld.
One of the biggest highlights of the project was working alongside Russell Crowe, who also co-wrote the film. “If you don’t become a sponge and soak up everything that someone like Russell is doing… then you’re missing a big opportunity,” Luke explained, according to E!. “I always try to watch actors like him… you can’t help but have a little bit of that dust, hopefully rub off on you.”
Family Life, Acting Dreams, and Dad Mode
Off-screen, Luke’s focus shifts from Hollywood to home life. The actor shares four children with his wife, Samantha Hemsworth, and revealed that the next generation may already be eyeing the spotlight. “My kids have all shown some sort of interest,” he said, before adding with honesty, “The youngest one keeps telling me that she wants to be an actor and I keep trying to discourage it as much as I can.”
Still, his stance ultimately comes down to support. “I want them to do whatever they want to do. I want them to be happy. And if that’s what makes them happy, then great,” he continued. “But I also want them to get a bit more life experience.”
Will the Hemsworth Trio Finally Happen?
Luke remains optimistic that a collaboration with Chris and Liam will eventually materialize. The demand is there, the interest is mutual, and the groundwork has already been laid through years of conversations.
For now, the missing piece is the right script. “I would love to,” Luke said. “So if anyone wants to write something… please.”
