Mandy Moore is soaking up the sun with her family, and fans are loving the glimpse into her idyllic beach getaway. The ‘This Is Us’ actress recently shared a rare bikini photo as part of a heartwarming carousel of images from a family vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico.
Wearing a sleek black swimsuit by Left on Friday, Moore looked radiant as she enjoyed the sand and surf with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children.
The 41-year-old singer and actress is spending quality time on the Mexican coast with her kids, August “Gus” Harrison, 4, Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett, 3, and 10-month-old daughter Louise Everett, alongside husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39, frontman of the folk rock band Dawes.
Moore wore a classic black bikini from the brand Left on Friday, also loved by Jesica Alba and Katherine Schwarzenegger. Her style a truly relaxed and elegant vacation look.
Captioning the Instagram post shared on Thursday (July 31), Moore wrote, “Nothing beats a beach vacation with some of your besties (here’s looking at you @whatsgabycookin). What an epic few days, @fspuntamita! We can’t wait to come back (Gus hasn’t stopped talking about it)!!”
The gallery of beachside moments captured sweet family time at the luxury Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. Her friends and followers stunned by the photo.Chelsea Handler was among to say what everyone else was thinking and wrote, “That’s one hot and sexy family!”
Then fans quickly flooded the comments with praise. One follower wrote, “The most beautiful family!” Another added, “Love that black swimsuit.” A third chimed in, “Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us! xo”
The tropical escape follows a difficult period earlier this year, when the family’s Los Angeles home was damaged in the California wildfires. Moore’s ‘This Is Us’ co-star Chrissy Metz provided an update last month, saying the family is doing well despite the ordeal.
“She’s doing well. I mean, thank goodness,” Metz, 44, told Extra in July.“ A lot of the structure was able to be salvaged, which is great, but it’s so jarring. It’s so life-altering, and she has children and pets. It’s just frightening because there’s Nothing you can do but hopefully get out of there.”
Moore also recently opened up about having a child in her 40s and the stigma that often surrounds it. Appearing on the Not Gonna Lie podcast, she challenged the term “geriatric pregnancy” and shared her experience of motherhood later in life.
“I feel like having my third child at 40, this term ‘geriatric pregnancy’ that’s thrown around… I think at least in my experience, so many of my friends are having kids later in life, whether it’s by choice or it’s by circumstance or biology.”
She added, “I think the thing that I had the most trouble with is just like this system in general kind of treating us as this anomaly that we’re like too old and we’re too complicated or high risk, and really, it’s like, ‘Nope, we’re just human beings.’
And I feel like it’s just such an outdated label…It feels like such an outdated one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to just women in general.”
